Those of us who have been through the torment know that writing a sestina is like playing
patty-cake with an octupus. Put me on your dance-card.
This is probably among the best sestinas I've ever seen. Great poem!

I have never attempted a sestina, but if I do I will use this at that time to measure that very high bar of creativity, philosophy and adherence to the style as my guide. Great descriptions of colour and sheen.
This beautiul sestina makes my meager attempts seem quite silly. You have such a wonderful command of the language and poetry in general. I admire your poetry and awesome talent. Write On!
