Shadows



Shadows in the corners of my mind
Broken dreams I had to leave behind
Memories that still inside me stir
Of used to bes that never really were

Wishing for a signal or a sign
Something good to ease my troubled mind
Wanting for forever to be free
Free from all the old wounds that still bleed
