Shame in news

I listen to news
-the child talks
-of the shame

You shamed her
-for gender, faith, culture

I hear a young man
-just thirteen; talks of shame

Shame on you
Shame on you
Shame on you

You told him:
- "Your father and mother,
-aunts, uncles, grannies, ancestors…
-…are faithless, go to hell! "

I am fool if believe
-that even a trace
-of sorrow, and or care
-can be found in your heart
-anywhere in your mind…

Oh, unless:
- "Why did not kill them all? "
- "Should've tightened the rope…"

But you who
-feels prince
-or monkey to mimic
- "No one must touch Royals
-unless hand extended
-for shaking, or kissing…
-…this is the protocol; so, obey."

You who is like a dog
-since you are son of dog
-or a sheikh, son of sheikh

You, never
No, never
Have ever

Felt ashamed of evil…
-you have done
-your parents…ancestors

Shame on you
Shame on you

You took them off their lands
-using nets of tricks, contract
-and of course, horse and gun
-for skin
-look and hair

What to say to you who
-returned ship, Indians
- (Those who fought with blood
-to save the Britain, greyhounds
-faithfully and loyal
-you who had none-nine-nine
-on Queen, named it: "Help and rehab"
-but in fact, was the "Hell, intact"
-you who took women; sterilised:
- "Are not worth to bear child…"

This track is too long
-a winter's endless night
