Sharing Self Poem by kwane Lamb

Sharing Self

Rating: 2.5

We talked as we walked
Each glance sharing a smile
Each touch filled with excitement

Passer/by's blushed at the sight
We were being natural
Getting to know who was who

We laid out no props
And made no stops
The day was very short

It was like I've known her for years
We swapped tears and fears
As I looked down at the ground

I assumed we were not earth bound
Hand-in-hand we flew up-ward
The sky grew a bright blue

As we entered
All that from just understanding
Nothing was demanding

Just a little talk
Just a little walk
And night never came...

Sharing self.
