Shattered Soul Poem by Sou Meads

Shattered Soul

My trembling hands surround my pillow,
Hold it tight,
Drown it in tears
My bleeding heart cries out so loud,
Screaming your name with every beat
My shiny face turned so pale,
With a look as dead as can be
And how would I still be alive,
When you're gone with my soul and life
Leaving a numb body behind
With a mind that only plays our memories,
Voice that only calls your name,
Eyes that only see your face,
And lips that still feel yours in between,
Hands that feel nothing but your touch,
And a heart that misses you so much
My life is now over, just like yours
So I'll dig my grave and lie next to you!
