She Bent To

She bent to

"She was an old lady, eighty six…"
-I was told by her who
-barber said:
-"Is alone, no husband…"
-had had one but he left…
-she is now with a son and daughter…

"Used to go to the church to …"
-said mother of the two:
-"…fight the pains…"
-the rest of story of herself remained there
-though we heard in silence…

She joined a kind group, church goers
-they went and visited
-elderly, abandoned…
-and one was that woman.

"Whenever she walked by plastic flowers
-she recalled her past home in nature…
-the true flowers…turned her head and bent to
-avoid causing harm to garden…! "

And teller, kind mother of the two
-was bashful
-she blushed…
-did she see herself too?

Scene was sad yet clean, pristine as skies
-of her time
-old lady's…

"Old lady's children are here…"
-stopped the narrator
-mean to say:
-"…don't visit…ignore her…"

Orator then went on:
-"She says she forgives them…
-they are her children…
-are busy, have a lot to handle…"
