She Gone Love Him Poem by Nicholas Smith

She Gone Love Him

No matter how much she cries
No matter how much you try
Your shilvary is not enough for the girl

Thinking 'is it something in the air? my breath? my hair? '
Putrid smell coming from me?
Surely it mustn't be
Clean I am mind body and soul

So what is it that puts her heart on hold?
Cold as winter wind yet I only want to commend
Support in time of need

Gives kisses so sweet
Honey bees would intrigue
Ah. Here I percieve indeed.

You love him.

No no my dear
I do not fear
Your departure at all
Sure I will fall

Please be so kind as to take my heart & mind
Push the knife deeper into my metaphorical spine
Walk away as if I ceased to exist
Sitting on the ground preparing to reminisce

Remember to never look back as if I'd done you harm
Curse my name even as you ride away without warn
Hug him tight like he's always done you right

Dusting myself off I take flight
Exploring the world as we both share reciprocity
No longer will you reign as dictator in my democracy

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Does not matter how much of a gentleman you are towards a woman, if her heart is with someone else, there's nothing you can do but to let her go.
