She's An Outcast Poem by WENDY KAY TADDAY

She's An Outcast

She's the girl no one liked in school
Kids would tease her and call her horrible
Names thinking they were cool.
She never had a lot of money and had to wear the same
Clothes days at a time, never ate at school because she barely
Had a dime.
She would sit at a lunch table by herself while the kids threw food at
Her and laughed just to watch her cry
She would run in to the restroom look in the mirror and say to herself
(WHY ME ALL I WANT TO DO IS DIE) .
The kids point at laugh at her while walking in the hall and step on
The back of her shoe just to watch her fall
How can they be so hurtful and so mean it just doesn't seem fair
The girl just wants to end it all, She believes she has had her share
She went to school crying every day, she knew what the kids were going to do or say
I sat there and watched a couple of kids go up and grab her glasses off her face and toss them in the trash can
Some friends and I ran up and confronted them and they laughed turned and ran.
Now for all you bullies out there, just remember time will come and trust me you will get your share
No family or friend were ever there it was her neighbor and school councilor that cared
She never finished school she couldn't take it any more
Driving down the street and I seen her standing on the corner holding up a sign 'IWILL DO ANYTHING FOR YOUJUST SO I CAN EAT AND SOME WHERE I CAN REST MY FEET '..
Her parents beat her from head to toe, she had to wear long sleeved shirts so the bruises Would not show
One day she came up missing, and her parents were sentenced to prison…
