She Used To Be Me Poem by Kemi Kemms

She Used To Be Me

Rating: 5.0

She used to be a clever girl
With a lot of patience and potential
But she wasn't pretty and not sexy
That's why nobody liked her

She was innocent and naive little girl
Successful in what she was doing
Sometimes lost in her own minds
Sometimes worn in black

She dreamt about her getting famous
World-known for her expressions
She used to have a positive direction
And everyone would know her

Then she wanted some attention
A little love, a man's touch
But she wasn't pretty and not sexy
And that's why guys didn't like her

Depression became her best friend
Nothing made her smile anymore
She felt less than average
Typical inquisitive insane initiator

She's lost all her talents
Believing world's condition
The appearance is
What makes a person …
What is this world we live in?

this happens often, but not tolerated in my world. A person's beauty starts within, then becomes her outward beauty with a smile, a kiss and touch of her face. This is true beauty with love recipricated. Great Write Kemi. -Kelly.
