She Wore Abercrombie And Fitch Poem by Seairra Kyger

She Wore Abercrombie And Fitch

I haven’t met you
Or seen you grace
Held your hand
Or kissed your face
But when I do I promise you
I’ll make it worth this wait

Can’t wait for the day
When we meet face to face
I'll hold you for all time
So maybe then
I’ll have someone
Who will stand by my side.

These words they might not mean a thing
I do not know
But whether or not you feel like this
I thought that you should know.

My heart it stops
When we talk
It’s silent as I write this
But please don’t think
It’s a bad thing
No one else makes me feel this way

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Another poem about long distence relationships. This is the built up pressure of wanting to meet this amazing person you've been with face to face for the first time.
