Shine On Your Own Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Shine On Your Own

A-llow Monday night to pass,
N-ew dawn starts to break;
A-iming to warm your heart,
L-eaving the dark no chance to take.
E-vening shadows are gone, as the twilight is over;
E-arly morn wakes you up to welcome the fine weather.

D-ecember twenty-seventh
O-pens the day with light;
C-old chill has disappeared,
T-uesday sun is burning bright.
O-ne birthday is remembered,
L-et not your mind moan;
E-very fret is forgotten,
R-ise and shine on your
O-wn.
