Shining Fireflies
Shining fireflies
Darting about the night
Blinking with simple frequency
An amazing synchrony
I watch and my eyes bate
To catch a glimpse
But I caught some blinks
As they swerve around
And away
And up and above
They become twinkling stars
Beautifying the night
The dark night
I long to catch
They fly away and far
Shining fireflies
