Ship Of Souls Poem by Missy Lynn

Ship Of Souls

Rating: 3.0

Mast of the vessel of my spirit
Along until all hope is sank in death
Far from the arms of those who love her

Many years ago long before I knew myself
A little girl came to me, a rescuer of souls
For she had within her the spirit of the divine

Missing upon the passing waves of water
Alone I became with her went a era of amity
Friendship of mine lost upon the shallows

My ghost ship soul is lost of her
As she soars in the heavens above the sky
Free she is now from the suffering of this earth

Much time has past since then that day
Afloat still is the ship upon the waves of my heart
Few sail these waters but my dear friend Raine is there
