Should Never Trust



The rain falls but I’m warm when I’m with you
The cold winds blow but can never touch us
They lied to deceive but I will stay true
They want to have fun but they only rush
With you by my side I feel like I’m free
The look you give brings happiness alive
I’ve failed many times but you stayed with me
I may not be perfect but still I try
You wanted promise over perfection
And I was the one who gave it to you
Fights we had and a few complications
But tried as we were each day became new
What if I started to believe you now
Would that change the wonderings about thou
