Sick Puppies Die Poem by Double A P SS

Sick Puppies Die

Rating: 4.0

This world of ours
Is a humble experience
To own and hold
But the facts
Stated in bold
Are true
There is only so much to do

Sick puppies die
No matter how hard we try

This world of ours
Is a sphere
That twirls around the sun
Going round and round
Give us happy things
And slaps us across the face with sour tears
There is only so much to do

Sick puppies die
No matter how hard we try
To keep them along our side
One day they can hardly stand
So you offer it a treat
It nibbles on it a bit
Then stares in to your eyes
With a sadden glow
You wonder it might be nothing
But then it moans in pain
And falls deep into sleep
You walk away
Come back to freshen the water bowl
Only to be hypnotized
By the stiffness of its tail
By its inoperable eyes

Sick puppies die
No matter the love
We dedicate to them
Things all come to an end
