Signals Poem by Amitava Nag

Signals

Through the wires
And towers across
Lands spread so far apart
My trembling voice
Touches your lips,
They swell
In virgin happiness
Is it all virtual?

There are streaks of signals
Casually in my room,
I know you stayed the night
Rummaging my pile
Of pregnant wait.
