Quarrels rose like waves,
Between a dearly couple.
Words after words spilt,
From a boneless tongue,
Even after complete knowledge,
That, words can’t be taken back.
She only had time to curse,
And grumble on her problems,
Where he took every opportunity to fault her.
Worried disturbed and confused,
They remained in silence,
From dawn to dusk.
They uttered not a word.
In that silence, there came a change,
And they spoke,
Not with words, but tears.
They quarreled no more,
For silence had taught them the truth.
