Silk Road Poem by Helen Kitaro

Silk Road

Determined to discover the truth
For the fiine smooth thread
That would lead me into emptiness
A road to forget all these miseries
Which never in mind of undergoing

Holding on to the simple faith
Of the Alpha and Omega
Further questioning was never attempted
Why do I still find my body soaking in the hot lava
And the nearest shore is somewhat a paradize I hoped to land

A simple task of vomitting
Words of confession of all these years
Never comes easy
Only way of eliminating pain
Is to use my blood to write them in words.
