Simple Joy



Slice.
off goes your skin
Crack.
a nail breaking a bone within

Rush.
the poison down your throat
Gasp.
you will drown in water, not float

Gush.
as knives poke your flesh deep]
Gag.
as the noose your air keeps

Burn.
as acid soaks your sores
Misery.
embedded in every pore

Joy!
in so many ways
Torture
forever and a day
