Single Snowdrop Poem by Philip Carter

Single Snowdrop

I have a single snowdrop
On my balcony
It is very little
But it is easy to see
It's growing alone in a tub of earth
So it is white against the brown
It looks so very delicate
Will it survive if the snow comes down?
I know they're grown from a bulb
But I have never planted one
Still, I'm not complaining
It can have its time in the sun.
