Singsong Concious Poem by zarina binda

Singsong Concious

She stops by the traffic lights
As he passes her by
Not glancing at her
In another’s arms

Daydreamer
Don’t be a fool
Day dreamer
He is not meant for you
Daydreamer
Daydreamer

There she sits in the cafeteria
As he sips he mocha chino
Wishing he would just look at her
Wake up girl! he’s just a dream

Daydreamer
Don’t be a fool
Daydreamer
He is not meant for you
Day dreamer
Day dreamer

There the walk, down the park
No other girl beside him
The sky gone dark
And only then he looks at her
At that moment he still doesn’t see her

Day dreamer
Don’t be a fool
Day dreamer
He is not meant for you
Say goodbye please just try
Day dreamer
Day dreamer

Don’t be a fool
Day dreamer

She stops by the traffic lights
As he passes her by
And she sighs with a broken heart
But nothing is as hard…

Day dreamer
Please don’t cry
Daydreamer
You have said good bye
Day dreamer
Day dreamer…
