First there was a patch of moss,
trapped in her cold cage.
Second there was a dandelion,
blessed by the soft loving breeze.
Third there was a thorny rose,
whom left a bloodied path.
Fourth there was a desert bloom,
sculpted by war's raging flame.
Fifth there was a water lily,
changing at every golden dawn.
Sixth there was a cold white bundle,
hollow with lies of pureness.
A horrible fate
befell every flower.
The first became silent.
The second lost his heart.
The third sailed forever
The fourth was taken, then broken.
The fifth now lies cold.
The sixth fell into darkness and lies.
