Sixteen Poem by Neeka Neekz

Sixteen

Rating: 5.0

At age sixteen we think that we all grown
We believe that no one can speak to us
So we tend to frown
Parents!
We don’t need them anymore!
Two years later we’re still knocking on their door
Can’t sleep on their bed
I gotta take to the floor
Daddy gets home and
Sends me back through the door
Now I know that at age sixteen
I ain’t a woman anymore.
