Skipping Stones / Corner Stones Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Skipping Stones / Corner Stones

Do I ever cross your mind
Do you ever hear my voice as I call your name
The echos that cross from my side of town to yours
Can you feel what I feel in the times where your sitting still
The touch that lingers whilst were away
A place you can always find me if fortunate
Fortunate to feel your embrace there
Do I ever cross your mind
Do you ever feel me beside you
As the wind that sweeps through your hair
As the wind that kisses the nape of your neck before it caresses your lips
With my voice
Do you feel at peace as I do with yours
Can you feel me tapping on the very windows of your soul
Without your voice
Lost
As a child wondering about before he finds the grasp of his father
His mothers hand
An epiphany that wonders as the dawn stands before the night
