Sleep Talking Poem by douglas lewis

Sleep Talking

Rating: 5.0

Dreaming in a dark room,
Alone.
The chatter starts.
Who keeps interrupting?
Is that madness at my door?
I fold myself in shadows
And crawl across the floor.
I grasp the drawn drapes
And bind them to my ears.
Who I am, I have some fears
But I need to get to sleep.
