Sleeping Creeps Poem by Bri Lynne

Sleeping Creeps

He called me up,
Ripe, dancing into the lights
His shield falling between his knees
Bleeding from underneath
His heart he gave to me
Singing sweetly,
Gently
Until he falls asleep

As the wind sweeps freely
I shall fly across the sea
Holding only what could be
Frivolity and certainty
Certainly
I thought we wanted memories
Sinking with reality
Rembering
While everything comes crumbling
That love may only reach my wildest dreams
When the sky weeps
And sleeping creeps
