when you smile, do it slowly
so your smile sinks in.
when you walk, do it slowly
let your hair blow in the wind.
when you get a hold of my hand,
don't you ever let it go.
and if you do please linger
even for a moment so.

when you kiss me,
kiss me softly
let me take you in.
inhaling the appealing scent
of where you've gone and been.
please take my breath away
and never give it back,
it doesn't matter if my face
turns all blue and black.
for as long as you might have it
i don't need it to survive,
baby, you are my air,
you keep me alive.

so when you touch me, touch me softly
let the vibration take its toll
whenever you do anything, please
do it slow
