Small Bombs Poem by Irene C S ClarkHogg

Small Bombs

Rating: 5.0

Anti-personel mines
They're very small
No size at all.
But large enough
To maim a man
Or kill a child.
The protest is mild
But they are so small
No size at all.

At Lockerbie
Blown from the air
Did the murderers care
That they advertised
The evil force
Who never cried
As people died?
Was the bomb small
No size at all?

At Hiroshima
Here the war ends
My American friends
Only thousands are gone.
The millions know
It was the only way.
Unlike weapons today
The bomb was small
No size at all.

A great human cry For them a whinning fly Doesn't matter at all Untill they fall Victim of their gall. CP
