Small Feather In The Wind Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Small Feather In The Wind

Then words spoke brighter than perhaps any light
For you I'd write a play that would make the heavens plunder
which the galaxy would implode in each and every word
Trivial she spoke
For the stars have purpose
If we were to ignite
What purpose would the galaxy have if you were my world
A world in which light shader's all darkness
Make it so that such blasphemous would not come from your lips
For all I ask is a morsel of your time
I asked if shed shed a tear for my ignorance
She said god bless you
It was then I watched my angel walk out of my life
Leaving her wings behind
Without a single tear
Bye bye for the night my love
Bye bye for the night

I really enjoy your poetry. Vivid and wonderful mental illustrations you paint with words.
