Smile And Wink Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Smile And Wink

J-ust let Thursday morn
E-rase the Wednesday night;
A-llow the beacon to bring
N-othing but the light.
R-ise of the sun begins,
O-n twenty-second December;
S-hadows have disappeared,
E-ven the chill and howler.

C-old raindrops from above
A-re beginning to vanish;
L-et the haze and mist
U-nder the sky diminish.
M-ake the day better,
B-eautiful, bright, and nice;
A-s you smile and show a wink of one of your eyes.
