Smiling Is a Way

It is a way of hiding sadness even
The sadness goes away
When smiling is in expressions.
One is smiling, the other is slightly unhappy
Smile is still visible, although it is just a half smile
The heart requires to smile and joy also wishes to express
Smiling, is in expressions, you dislike me but I feel for you
Only the time will tell, as we are made for each other.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
