Snow White Poem by Annie Mark

Snow White

She walked a long road
in hidden lights
slowly savoring the dappled lanes
breathing in the dust
the memory of rains fading each moment
silent emoty roads
only the bumble bees droning away
happy engrossed in their flowers
Breezes stilled
and waited.
as she wondered whether to hold in
or let out.
Sit down,
Draw a line in the dry dust motes
Random lines, as sure as the lines of fate
Life is a Disneyland
Prince charming or witch?
Which one?
