So Deep Poem by Leyla Steyn

So Deep

Rating: 5.0

Never seen some one want red beryl when they can just have themselves.
It's not like they're any different.
And I've always loved that love for that show
The one where everyone is clever like her
And I'll be sat there feeling useless and silly.

I used to worry about my clothes when I saw boys.
Wanted them to think I was hot.
This time
Her face telling me I look bad scares me.

(This still does not express my feelings well. I tried.)

Just keep laughing at myself.
Like she should be doing too.
Making these jokes, sounding middle class
While she's just on top of it all.

Spending all day thinking about it
What do I do to express it all?
'Leave me alone! I'm not worthy! '
Says just a portion of it.

Never seen some one want red beryl when they can just have themselves.
Gutted.
I've found the best gem of all.
