So Far Poem by Wakefield Mahon

So Far

You know this world is give and take
At least, that's what they say
It seems I'm always ready to take
More than I give away

You might say that I've been selfish
My heart is full of greed
Thinking only of myself
While others are in need

I've led a life that's full of sin
And that's the way it's always been

So far

So far, I have always run away
So far, I have wandered from your way
So far, I would have kept falling
So far, until I heard your sweet voice calling

So far away

So far, You've never counted the cost
So far, whenever I was lost
So far, You searched the whole world 'round
So far, You've never let me down

So far
