So Happy Poem by Lilly James

So Happy

She looks so happy
Sitting there in her desk
She has most people fooled
She can't trick herself
Into thinking she's content
She pulls her hand through her hair
Hoping no one notices
How upset she realy feels
She doesn't want the attention
Of them knowing what's going on
She doesn't want their sympathy
It won't bring back the dead
It won't bring him back to her
The one person she needs in order
To feel at all cormforted
Was barried a week ago
A week before school started
She's in a strange place
Who are the people around her
She honestly doesn't know
A single one of them
She's missing him
Needing him to feel stable
She's on an emotional rollercoaster
Up and down loop around
She's not okay
To all the people she looks
So happy sitting in that desk
