So High Up Poem by nathan hawk

So High Up

</>We were about to take off
My heart beating a million times a minute
We take off and I feel the humming of the propeller throughout my body
I smell the gas from the engine

Everyone looks like ants
Because I am so high up
I feel the goose bumps start to form on my arms
Because I am so high up

I do a couple of turns and dives
And my stomach drops
We begin our descent and are about to land
My heart starts beating faster than a racecar

We touch down and I feel relieved
But never before
Have I felt
So high up
