So many into self promotion in the World we live in today
Suppose if you feel that will lead to success for you then that for you is quite okay
But with so many into promotion of the self not every self promoter can hope to succeed
At what she or he hopes to succeed at for such people failure seems tragic indeed
Success and failure are siblings one knows of great wealth and renown
And the other looked on as a failure one more nobody of the town
That's why so many are into self promotion for some such is known for to pay
But for others it does not seem to work out that's life as some are known to say
The successful get the adulation that's how it is and always will be
Only the compassionate wish to know of the homeless the victims of dire poverty
But the successful and failures share one thing in common the life journey for them has to end
The Reaper treats everyone as an equal and the Reaper to none is a friend
And why so many are into self promotion is that in their hearts they do believe
That they will be looked on as failures if their goals in life they do not achieve.
