so what if i say i'm beautiful
and you don't.

so what if my best day
is your worst.

so what if i chose to be different
when everyone else struggles to fit in.

so what if i think about you every day
when you haven't thought about me since you went away.

so what if i'm alone
and no one else is.

and so what if the most beautiful part of me
is the part you can't see?

i'm still here, still breathing and i'm still me.
