So, you complain about being alone

Sometimes, others don't make you feel lonely
You just make yourself alone

The family is at the table
You stand up and decide to sit in the corner
And when they invite you to join them, you refuse
Then you'll complain about being alone

Do you not know that the earth is round?
That means it's endless
And so are its people

You complain about being lonely
When really you just make yourself alone

But as for others, they are shunned out
Almost like they were edited out of a picture
In the end they reject company
And complain about being alone

A friend shouts for attention but is being ignored
He is frustrated
Someone lends a listening ear to him
He rudely walks away
And later complains about feeling lonely

So, you complain about being alone
Are you sure you don't make yourself lonely?
And put the blame on others

Don't forget that the earth is round
Meaning it's endless
And so are its people

At least one person wouldn't want to leave you by yourself
