Soap Opera (episode #3)
'Flashing Lights: Red and Blue'

the flashing lights of police cars bounced off
the house at the end of the cul-de-sac
the one with the Lexus sticking out of it
the Lexus that was currently pinning
the two bodies underneath it

the fireman came
the police came
the paramedics came
the coroner came
the tow truck came

the driver would survive
the two victims would not
the police handcuffed
the suspect to
the gurney
the paramedics loaded him into
the ambulance
the questions would have to wait
the answers would be vague at best
the lawyers would see to that
