Falling in love is a sin,
As is keeping yourself confined within.
Sanction required for every nugatory task;
Freedom of self: Compromised.
Change despised, traditions upheld;
One with the crowd? Approved.
Expression denied, being yourself a crime,
Caving to routine, you rot.
Your actions don't match, reactions retract,
Numbness all you feel.
Deprived of emotion, you stay
Inside those four walls, awake.
Put on a smile, nod and deny,
Lies are all you state.
Silence distraught, time crawls on,
Heavy hearts with burdens to bear.
Acquiescence follows distress,
Benign spirits grow corrupt.
No one escapes this forlorn facade,
Endurance fades each day.
Falling pray to ennui, we stand
Impotent, weak, tormented beings.
Unable to take a stand, we fall
Subject to derision; forsaken souls.
NICE READ MINE AND COMMENT LIKE THIS '''sometimes flow of appreciation also inspire the new to ignite fighting spirit. PH could accept that challenge also..... to hold, to increase their self-assurance.''''
