Soft is the sound
of your love letting me down
I would have thought
with the heart running deep
the noise would be so loud
but that is just what I hear
inside of me rushing around
The look in your eyes
is no longer there
Your touch on my hand
is cold with no more care
Love is beyond what we thought
would always be
Soft is the sound of our love ending now.......
