Some Way Back Poem by Natasha Foster

Some Way Back

There must be some way back
To the place I know best;
But the picture's going black,
I must be laid to rest.

There must be some way back
To that serene place.
It's the only name my mind does lack,
The place where God covers me with grace.

I prayed for God to show me the way,
'To that special place you made for me;
this is what I pray.
It's the only place I want to be.'

Nice heartfelt and honest poem. I tend to believe that the only way back is to go within.: -)
