To my mother who gave birth to me.
Mother who raised me in a gutter
All your toils you never wither
Your faith in me never falters
From your little you still cater
Filling my belly with sweetness like fanta
Every day on my mat I pray
Long life for my mum I say
Wishing you a joyous end as I lay
Because, all we've known is sorrow
Growing up in a farrow
A lifestyle with dreams so shallow
Left to crave for a better tomorrow
Now, I call on heaven and earth as my witness,
You readers and listeners
That I will wipe out my mum's tears
Bail out all her fears
And fill her heart with cheers.
Someday we will walk with our heads high
Rid our hearts from all cry
Make our enemies' plot lies
And finally say to poverty goodbye.
Someday Mum, Someday!
