Someone Like You Poem by Raheem Lyttle Kiyaga

Someone Like You

I've been searching high and,
Low for someone like you,
May be we can get together
Sometime since we live in,
The same area,
Let me know
What you night have in mind,
He you're interested, I'm up,
For pretty much anything.

I've been wandering around,
Often searching down at all I see,
Painted faces fill the chasms, I can't,
Just know that I couldn't use anybody,
Ain't you, Like you,
Know it that I could use
Someone like you,
And all you know,
And how you speak,
Countless lovers undercover of the street,
But none like you,
Someone like you, I was waiting for.

Someone like you, You, you,
Will have to get what I've for you,
Hope will see my face,
And play with my hair,
And I can't stay away.

Someone like you,
Born and raised in a summer haze,
Will see me do what lovers do,
Hope to get someone like you, you, you,
If you're interested, I'm up,
For pretty much anything,
Hope to hear from you soon.
