Something... Poem by Nightshade Starlight

I know there must be something there,
Something hidden deep beneath.
Beneath the blank, the engulfing darkness.
There has to be something buried
Somewhere, where it feels like nothing.
This deep eternal abyss that has filled
This blank and emotionless soul.
I pray, that there is something there.
Something that can keep me going.
Even if its small and fragile,
Let it be there so I know SOMETHING
Is in the endless fog.

Please, please let there be something
That makes this darkness bearable
And my life something to look forward too.
