Something Is Calling Poem by Jon Peter MIah

Something Is Calling

The earth is turning, the clock never slowing
Forever she has been hear, forever she is knowing
Sands of time, with melody and rhyme
Every path you take, an eternity lost in time.

The trees strength is held deep in its roots
And it is measured by quality of its fruits.
Every branch, a lesson you have learned
Every leaf, a badge of honour you have earned.
From out of the forests, something is calling
Along with the sunrise, a new day is dawning.

Can you hear it? Your destiny is calling
Don't let it fall of deaf ears, your plan should now be forming.
Listen and follow, be true to thy self
Don't let your inner dreams, just collect dust on the shelf.

Upon the winds, drifting over the tall dieing trees
Through the baron waste lands
and red and brown crumbling leaves.
Something whispers, upon this gentle breeze,
Humanity stop weeping and rise up from your knees.
