Something You Must Not Break Poem by Devlin Pajaron

Something You Must Not Break

When your mother's vase falls
You end up being scolded
Your eyes run through the walls
As sometimes you get blunted

But what if it's someone's life you break?
The pain, the sorrow you make
Engrave to their minds; you can't take
It's there, their hearts will break

I write these words because of guilt
The shame I take for breaking one's life
Because of a love that can't be rebuilt
I stabbed her heart with my words of knife
