Sometimes

Sometimes I feel like I can fly
Sometimes I just want to cry
Sometimes I feel so happy
Sometimes I just feel crappy
Sometimes I walked and talk,
Asking myself questions of why?
Sometimes I just want to run,
Never looking back waving bye
Sometimes I feel just giving up,
Since the world around me stop
Sometimes I just want to scream
Cause nightmares are not in dreams
Sometimes I feel like such a fool
Being hurt by those I care for
Sometimes I just want some air
Why mostly I wish I wasn’t here
Sometimes I lay back and think
Of what tomorrow shall bring
Sometimes I say it will be sweet
But instead left wounded to weep
Sometimes life can be so cruel,
That it takes you years to forget
But sometimes life treats you kind,
So sometimes you live without regret
Sometimes… sometimes… sometimes,
It’s just a word I’m getting tired of…

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
