What A Dream Poem by Eric Joseph Lopez

What A Dream

So in this dream I was,
While my body on the bed pause.
This dark creepy nightmare,
Wishing you were here.
Facing this alone isn’t fun,
But side by side we’re one.
I woke up tried to jump out of bed,
But hurt my self on the damn bed-head.

I pick up the phone to give you a call,
While walking I slip and fall.
What luck must I do,
Just to be with you.
Getting aggravated now,
Irate and feeling a bit silly like an old milking cow.
Showing my anger,
I broke a wooden hanger.

After noticing got no minutes on the phone,
So here I’m sitting alone.
Shedding a tear,
Wishing you were here.
So this is my last hope,
To write you a little note………

Cant fart nor sleep,
I tried but nightmare crashing a jeep.
I fell to this place,
But I came back to see your face.
Eagerly like a monster,
Hungry for disaster.
I catch a flu,
A virus call I love you.
